Neuklang – Vol. 7 (2018) is a continuation of the high-fidelity series from Bauer Studios, specifically showcasing their Klangwelten Erleben (Experiencing Worlds of Sound) concept. Released in late 2017/early 2018, this volume focuses heavily on the “Human Touch” in recording—emphasizing vocal nuances, the tactile click of woodwind keys, and the organic resonance of acoustic string instruments.
Vol. 7 is a standout for testing midrange transparency and micro-detail. While earlier volumes focused on the sheer power of big bands, this volume highlights smaller ensembles and “Studio Konzert” sessions where the silence between the notes is just as important as the music itself.
