Neuklang – Vol. 8 (2018) is a landmark release in the audiophile series from Bauer Studios, celebrated for its incredible breadth of modern jazz and its use of high-resolution mastering (DSD and 24-bit/192kHz). This volume is particularly prized for featuring tracks from the label’s Studio Konzert series, which are direct-to-two-track analog recordings that provide an eerie level of “live” realism.
In Vol. 8, the engineering team at Bauer Studios pushed the “Klangwelten Erleben” (Experiencing Sound Worlds) concept to its peak.
