Stockfisch Records Vol. 1 most likely refers to Closer To The Music Vol. 1, the first major sampler from the German audiophile label Stockfisch Records.
Stockfisch Records – Closer To The Music Vol. 1 is a beautifully produced audiophile compilation that introduces the warm, intimate and natural sound of Stockfisch Records. The album brings together a selection of carefully recorded tracks from different Stockfisch productions, creating a smooth and highly detailed listening experience. It is especially loved by audiophiles for its clean vocals, acoustic instruments, deep bass, and realistic sense of space.
The disc contains 17 tracks and runs for about 73 minutes. Stockfisch describes it as the first sampler released by the label, made to clearly present their philosophy: “Closer to the Music.” The recordings focus on emotional performances rather than artificial studio effects, with voices and instruments placed naturally in the soundstage.
