Stockfisch Records – Closer To The Music Vol. 2 continues the label’s famous “Closer to the Music” philosophy, presenting a refined selection of acoustic, folk, blues and singer-songwriter recordings. The album is designed to showcase the warm, intimate and highly detailed sound that made Stockfisch Records popular among audiophiles.
This volume is especially appreciated for its natural vocals, clean acoustic instruments, deep but controlled bass, and realistic stereo imaging. The recordings are not overly processed or artificially bright; instead, they focus on musical realism, space, and emotional performance.
