Top 3 successful / important Triangle products
| Product / Series | Type | Why it is successful |
|---|---|---|
| Triangle BOREA Series | Entry / mid-level hi-fi speakers | Very popular because it offers a clean design and strong price/performance, making Triangle’s sound more accessible. Triangle describes BOREA as the gateway to high fidelity with excellent value. |
| Triangle Esprit Antal EZ | Floorstanding loudspeaker | One of Triangle’s best-known floorstanders, using technology inspired by the Magellan range, including a horn tweeter. It is praised for dynamics, sensitivity and musical energy. |
| Triangle Magellan Series | High-end loudspeakers | Represents Triangle’s premium side, with more advanced design, better drivers and serious audiophile performance. |
Sound character
Triangle speakers are usually known for:
Fast, lively sound
Clear vocals
Open treble
Good dynamics
High sensitivity
Wide, energetic presentation
They often work well with amplifiers from Marantz, Cambridge Audio, NAD, Naim, Hegel, Rotel, Atoll and Yamaha. Because Triangle can sound lively and detailed, pairing with a smooth or warm amplifier can be a very good match.
Overall rating
Overall brand rating: 4.5 / 5
Strengths: dynamic sound, elegant French design, good price/performance in the BOREA range, strong floorstanders, clear and musical presentation.
Weaknesses: some models can sound bright in reflective rooms or with sharp amplifiers; careful placement helps get the best stereo image.
Best for: listeners who want open, detailed and energetic French loudspeakers for vocals, jazz, acoustic music, pop, rock and home cinema.
