Anette Askvik is a Norwegian artist, composer, pianist, vocalist and producer from Stavanger, Norway. Her music is usually described as pop, art pop, and atmospheric singer-songwriter music, often combining acoustic instruments, electronic textures and cinematic sound design. Her official website describes her music as “powerful and hypnotic,” and presents her as an artist, composer and producer.

Her important albums include Liberty released in 2011, Multiverse released in 2016, and With Every Cell and Lyden av Snø, both released in 2023. Apple Music and Deezer list key songs such as “Liberty,” “Under the Tallest Tree,” “The Bird Song,” “Pour Me Out,” “Light,” “I Am the Sea,” and “Kjære stjerne.”

She is known among audiophile listeners for spacious, detailed recordings, especially Liberty, and in 2025 she was presented as a brand ambassador for Munich High End, a major hi-fi event.
