High efficiency
Powerful dynamics
Clear vocals and dialogue
Strong live-music feeling
Big sound from fewer watts
Excellent home-cinema impact
The Klipschorn is a classic example of the brand’s philosophy: horn-loaded design for high output and low distortion. Klipsch describes it as up to 20 times more efficient than conventional loudspeakers.
Overall rating
Overall brand rating: 4.5 / 5
Strengths: very dynamic sound, excellent for movies and live music, high sensitivity, iconic Heritage models, strong value in the Reference Premiere line, good match with tube amplifiers.
Weaknesses: the treble can sound bright or forward with the wrong amplifier or reflective room; some models need careful placement; not everyone likes the horn sound.
Best for: listeners who want big, energetic, powerful sound for rock, jazz, live recordings, home cinema and dynamic music playback.
